Bilateral meeting between the Director General of ARPT guinea and NATCOM Sierra Leone

The Guinean regulator welcomed his Sierra Leonean counterpart during a survey visit. The purpose of the two bodies was to discuss telecommunications issues affecting both countries.  The meeting took place on March 28 in Guinea. The discussions focused in particular on One Area Network and Cross Boarder Interference and Coordination. At this level, the two authorities are considering finding solutions against interference and ensuring a good connection of the network connecting Guinea and Sierra Leone.  It has also been an opportunity for the Managing Director of ARPT to invite the sector’s operators to comply with the regulations. At the end of the meeting, ARPT and NATCOM decided to study their frequency band tables respectively to avoid interference issues. It should be noted that telecommunications equipment must be certified before they are used or marketed in both countries. However, to approve your equipment, join us at Sales@consultit-now.com
