CAMEROON: FRATEL IS ORGANIZING ITS 16th SEMINAR

FRATEL is the French-speaking network for telecommunications regulation

FRATEL is an apolitical organization whose mission is to work for a better telecommunications sector in French-speaking countries. As part of its activities, it recently held its sixteenth seminar in Douala on last April 2-3.

More than 140 participants from several countries discussed the following topic: Methodologies and Tools for Measuring Mobile Service Coverage and Quality. The meeting was opened in the presence of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libon Li Likeng. With the topic chosen, the participants were trained on the indicators that promote the quality of mobile services. It was also an opportunity for them to get practical knowledge on coverage measurement media and mobile QoS, and the production of coverage maps etc…..

It should be noted that the next edition of the FRATEL will be held on October 23-24 in Bucharest, Romania.
