Ghana will soon have a laboratory to test imported electronic and communication equipment manufactured in the country.
This information has been official since July 18th. This future laboratory is a project belonging to the Ghana Telecommunications Regulator that will verify the compliance of equipment with international requirements. The tests will be carried out according to the following fields:
Specific Absorption Rate Measuring
Radio Frequency and Signalling
Electronic Flow Strength
Digital Terrestrial Television
This is as well an invitation to the stakeholders
of the telecommunications sector to have their equipment tested and approved before they
are used in the country. For issues pertaining
to approval in Ghana, CONSULT IT has been a reference for years, helping companies obtain their certificates of approval quickly.
