ITI is the Institute of Information Technology

Students in the city of Assouan, Egypt, will benefit from training to build their skills in Information and Communication Technology. This project is being initiated by the Institute of Information Technology (ITI). In fact, the cooperation agreement was signed on Wednesday, February 20 ,2019 between Heba Saleh, the institute›s first Manager and Ahmed Gallab, President of the University of Assouan.
This new department within the university will train students and graduates from the City of Assouan in ICT to prepare them for the job market. Moreover, this innovation is also part of the government s policy through the «Egypt Manufactures Electronics» initiative, whose aim is to encourage the manufacture of electronic equipment to be sold at international. It is also a significant boost for the Egyptian telecommunications sector with technological equipment made in Egypt.
